Sacred Moments for Sacred Purposes

Imagine the relief of stepping into a weekend that is absolutely overflowing with the goodness of slow, quiet, beauty, and reflection. Imagine all these together with the joy of community, the nourishment of meals shared, and lingering conversations. Put all this goodness on a foundation built on God's Word with God's Spirit.
This is a One Voice Retreat.
It's a chance for you to close the door on the world for a little while, and step into a foretaste of the Kingdom of Heaven.
Why One Voice?
A One Voice Retreat is not a conference.
Conferences include speakers who have been invited to talk and share their expertise with the audience.
But in a One Voice Retreat, the primary teacher we invite is the Holy Spirit.
In One Voice, The Art of Spending Time With God, I teach the skill of asking questions as a way to study Scripture. During the retreat we will focus on a passage of Scripture together throughout the weekend. You will receive a beautiful binder to take notes in during the weekend and beyond. We will spend time reading the passage together and having conversations around carefully curated questions just for the occasion. There will be plenty of time for you to meditate on these questions throughout the retreat as you enjoy various activities.

Activities offered might include:
-
Walks on the property
-
Sitting by the outdoor or indoor fireplace
-
Sipping tea or coffee with a pastry
-
Creating at the art table
-
Musing in a hammock
-
Definitely while enjoying one of our wonderful meals!
