There's a spot on our back porch, just outside my bedroom window, where a pair of little birds builds a nest every spring. Each day at sunrise, the birds begin their song. I don't need an alarm clock in spring because I'm awakened to the birdsong. They sing their special song at just the right time every single day.

Here's to unique songs we all sing in season.
