Feast

"You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies" Psalm 23:5

"My heart has heard You say, 'Come and talk with Me.' And my heart responds, 'Lord, I am coming.'"

Psalm 27:8.

The world is moving a breakneck speeds. Like a stampede, we are compelled to move faster and faster, without really even knowing where we are going. The stampeded is headed for destruction. Instead, Jesus offers us a different kind of life. A pace that is slower and steady. A life that enjoys His company and is nourished by His words. Jesus is inviting us to slow down and enjoy His company. He will always have prepared exactly what we need. We will be satisfied. Slow down. Sit with the Lord.
